Ferrari has an enviable legacy of supercars, including the F40, F50 and LaFerrari, but the model that can claim to be the brand’s first is the GTO. Released in 1984, the GTO featured a twin-turbo V8 and composite bodywork to blur the lines between the brand’s road cars and racing models.
Only 272 examples of this striking machine were built and Ferrari has invited all owners for a special road trip through the stunning Dolomite Mountains. The five-day experience will begin October 1 and take them on a trip through Rendena Valley before spending two days in the Dolomites and heading to Maranello for a factory parade and gala dinner. While you’re at Maranello, you’ll be able to get the full history of your car from the Officina Classiche and you’ll get a chance to drive on the famed Fiorano Circuit.
If you own a GTO, we’d love you to join, so do get in touch. Or if you know someone who does, be sure to let them know about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
